No time to waste washing hands with creek water out of a wood bucket, he has to get to chopping wood for his only source of heat, a 1920s wood stove, but he says he does it because he enjoys the exercise.

They might have long calls and they might be 'selling to close'. Open interest will go down if those with long calls sell those to close the position

Friendly reminder costco could announce jan 2023 sales by this week, worth playing some weeklies. Puts or calls I've no idea.

Probably typing these responses with greasy hands from his hungry man dinner.

My question is why are they buying them back when they could expire worthless or get cheaper. LVS had a nice dip today so that could be why?

I just looked at their balance sheet. They have over 31 billion in cash. Their cash holdings increased by 10% last year. You missed the movement already

Cobalt is also used heavily in the refinement of oil, Mr bot needs to do a lil more research there

It’s possible they sold for higher premiums a while ago and they’re buying them back lower, I get that. But why not let them expire worthless or buy them back cheaper IF* the market goes sideways or tanks?

It great to leave your house everyday and have your full range available because it charges while you sleep. When you plan a trip, the nav tells you where to stop and charge. It is harder to run out of juice in a Tesla than it is to run out of gas in a gas car.

Reply to 2nd time making a covered call: 1600 shares of Carvana at $8.43. 16 $9 calls sold at 0.71 a call by thisisthetaa
Long Stock + Short Call = Short Put
Think of it as you basically sold a 9 strike put that expires Feb 3rd. So you are correct that if the stock tanks you’ll take a beating. Your hope is you can sell more calls to lower your basis, but if CVNA really drops there won’t be calls you can sell without the risk of a rally calling your stock away and you locking in a loss.

Well at least you're short premium unlike that other CVNA degenerate who posted today. You will probably make money on anything less worse than a -5% move tomorrow, based off your ungodly theta number and how IV works on meme stocks.
