I avoid fast food as a general rule, it’s literally my last food option when nothing else is available.

But both places bring in meat to sell onto consumers and profit off doing so, so I think claiming that as the reason to avoid fast food as a vegan is a bit of a stretch.

I also made no assumptions about how stuff is cooked in a fast food place, I merely pointed out that both places profit off selling meat.

I do in fact eat vegan. I am also under no illusion that staff in a fast food, or any other restaurant that isn’t solely plant-based for that matter, are going to cross-contaminate the foods, because they either don’t give enough of a shit, or are too stupid to know better. As I have no allergies the cross-contamination is not a huge issue for me personally. If I eat at a BK it would be a calculated risk at that point.

Market Probability Tracker - Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (atlantafed.org)

If there was a 50/50 split, or something close to that between 50 and 25 basis points, I'd say yes. But it's 25. I thought it would be 50 a while back, but never materialized in data.

What he will do is highlight the end rate, dot plot. Which is still above 5%. Which would take 2 more hikes to get to. He will try to talk markets down without hitting a 50 basis point hammer.

It's going to take months for the market to realize that higher rates are here to stay and that there is no rate cut coming this year.

My only guess is he’s driving a level 3 prototype in Europe. It’s not available in the USA yet. But considering this feature (not level 3) has been available in almost every USA model Mercedes for many years now, this isn’t a fair comparison at all. I also have a hard time believing the prototype would have these limitations.

Edit: A press release says the new Mercedes system only does 40mph, so yes it’s the new level 3 system. That does suck, but clearly only designed for city driving.
