>I'm a serious meat eater and Oyster Oyster was still one of the best meals I had all year.
Agree. We went last fall, and are going back in April to try their spring menu.
Albi was the stand-out star for me last year. Cannot wait to go back.
Agreed. I chose it bc my dining partner is veg but I was pretty impressed they didn't make the menu seem like I was eating same veggies prepared different ways.
Service was great. Wait staff was down to earth but still professional and attentive. It didn't feel pretentious or like we were out of place, not wealthy enough to be eating there like some other fine dining spots in DC.
Also some of the most interesting beers I’ve had in dc
link to the full finalists?
Ugh, I love Causa and want it to be successful but not so nationally known that it's hard to get reservations.
Seriously, good for Causa. Will probably get a Michelin star in the next edition. Certainly deserves it.
So more than a list of 7 IPAs, a sour, and Narragansett?
as someone who eats veg, oyster oyster was pretty mid
>Will probably get a Michelin star in the next edition.
Yup. Michelin released their "cited" list (Stars + Bib Gourmands) and Causa is already on the list.
We went to Causa last weekend and it was fantastic.
If I'm allergic to mushrooms guessing it's not worth eating there?
The menu I had had mushrooms. They do try to accommodate allergies I think it would be worth a call to ask
Albi is so deserved!
