If you compare the DC-Baltimore CSA to the Philly-Wilmington CSA, then we're larger by more than 2.5million. And honestly comparing CSAs is probably the move, because all 9.9 million of us were snuffed out of a stadium, not just the DC-area ones. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combined_statistical_area
But honestly, I'd be even madder if I was in Chicago. 4th largest CSA and 3rd largest MSA, and there isn't even a good option nearby.
