South Africa is not listening. Some SA politician was JUST in the news for agreeing with Russia about a new world order without the west.

South African politicians are naive, unfortunately. Its sad to see a country that's struggled so much with exploitation cuddle up to a sociopathic regime, but what can you do? The narrative of blaming the west for your problems is just easy, and it's just way too common to ignore the good things the west does, so no one bats an eye at it.

Ukraine will go for as long as needed. If needed, if it came to it, the west will just put in foreign volunteers with next gen weapons. The whole thing is basically a trap which convinced russia to use up all its equipment and bleed itself white. When Russia was trying to rig our elections five years ago, no one could dream we could trick them into throwing a whole generation into a meat grinder with basically zero cost to the west.

There isnt.

But if we destory the person liveryhood of people doing this then other people would be discouraged to also do this.

People dont understand how devastating being sanctioned and blacklisted by the US federal govt really is. If there is a $1 of federal funding on the entire chain any sanctioned person is not allowed to participate. These people would be barred from interacting with ANY entity that deals with the federal govt.

Momentum will be key. Korea has the chance to become a dominant player. They can do this by becoming more visible to European nations. Even with Germany's attitude, their gear is technologically advanced and is a dominant player rn. Potential must be realized, military gear purchases are more than just simple purchases. It aligns the partnering nation with the seller in more ways than one. Poland has decided to go along with Korea, but will others do the same? Showing commitment in the region is the way to further Korea's interests. Much like how the US conducts its business.

One of the first things our country did after Confederation was allow CPR to to bypass the tariff we had against American steel so they could get cheaper materials for the construction of the railroad. Then that very government - lead by John A. MacDonald - became mired a few years later in a bribing scandal. MacDonald had to resign in disgrace. He came back later and got re-elected funnily enough.

So the cancer and rot at the heart of Canada began long before Trudeau the First or Lester Pearson. It started right at the top from beginning.
