Relying on the honor system for almost all universities to turn down money in aid of democracy is pretty rich.

Not that Jiang Zemin was any better 30 years ago, being the architect of mass organ harvesting among other atrocities . It's just that citizens of the West have become more aware of China since Xi's rise.

Israel also doesn't want one of their drones to be downed, and examined by Russia's ally, Iran.

Depressing.
Few contacts from there and other touristy places we have from our trip there indicated that they struggled during the pandemic.
Now they reopened and have to close again because people support corruption and a frigging wannabe dictator?
So fucking messed up

If you really want to play a numbers game, start with the truth.
There were not even 300 Palestinians killed in 2022. so certainly less than 1 a day.

(and even once you get the real number, how many of those were active combatants, or killed because of their immediate proximity to active combatants? The vast majority of Israelis killed by palestinians were not only not active combatants, they were civilians just doing day to day stuff nowhere near a firefight)
and neither does Israel just walk around picking up palestinian kids to torture. Of course someone involved in a terrorist activity, or endangering the lives of others, by throwing rocks at cars for example, should be detained. The torture thing is just another accusation thrown around without any basis or proof. Just like the accusation that Israel loves to do this. Israel wants all these terrorists, and their kids that have been raised to hate to just leave Israel alone.
(now after having written all of this, I hope you were just sincerely uneducated, and have now learnt something, and I haven't wasted my time with a troll.)

Edit: Bunch of Americans in here who don't understand that the leaders of the Liberal-National Coalition are the LIBERAL PARTY.

No they were random Palestinians in the West Bank that were part of a different group. The PA lead by Fatah has a weak hold on the WB and lost Gaza completely in 2007. Mahmoud Abbas is 87 and will die soon, Fatah is pretty weak, Hamas is strong, but not decisively like in Gaza. Major cities are way more separate in WB, so different group tend to have control in the different cities, like Ramallah, Jenin, Hebron, etc... In this case Hamas was not involved. Many Palestinians will attack Israeli citizens(these Druze were Israeli), as the Palestinian government will pay their families though pay to slay, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_Authority_Martyrs_Fund.
Edit: accidentally replaced fatah with hamas

I understand that it’s not incorrect, as I said. It’s just a colorful choice of words when the subject is political divisions and war. In that regard, it’s a bit provocative on purpose. Otherwise it didn’t stand out to me at all.

I mean… the west was perfectly fine with Serbia trying to take over Croatia in the 90s (in case you weren’t alive then) Just saying.
But in all realities when Russia finally does use Nukes because of what the West is doing (Ukraine wants to bomb Moscow and has advocated for a Nuclear strike on Moscow). They have also tried to escalate things by bombing Poland.
I love how some Americans are ignorant of the Cold War and just after. Let alone Ukraine and how they sided in WW2 and never seemed to change course after the Cold War.
I’m not saying they shouldn’t has some rights… but they didn’t want to join NATO decades ago. Now they want to start Nuclear War. I don’t know if I’m okay with sending plenty of weapons to a power that is actively advocating for Nuclear strikes on another country and were before the invasion.

Our entire country and all its peoples are just pay-pigs for a number of very small cliques. Groceries, energy, telecomms, media, and more. Protectionism, they call it, as if putting a maple-flavoured condom on before fucking us all makes it any better.

Relying on anyone to do anything because "ethics" is absolutely laughable. "Muh ethics" is what you resort to bleating when you have literally nothing else. As always, Canada is a fucking joke about national security.
