It's about values. Most Muslim nations don't value human/individual rights, which is why they're not as upset with China rounding up the Uyghurs. Howwever, they do value religious sanctity and purity above all else, which is why burning the Quran or unflattering depicitions of Mohammed rile them the most. This runs in direct contrast to the Western-liberal value of free expression.

I’m asking you if you agree with that stance, that Brazil should’ve kept trading with both Axis and Allies?

Well, Justin made it clear that he admires China's government, so I'm not surprised they have connections in uni too. How low have you fallen Canada, I used to think it was such a nice place...

>They never ask themselves that if Deng was such a genuine reformist, then how the hell did things become so much more conservative with Xi?
Are you suggesting Hu wasn't a genuine reformist?
All of the leaders have some kind of blood on their hands, but the run from Deng to Hu was promising. It's a massive shame what has happened in China

Guarantee Canada elects a CCP stooge who curiously speaks fluent mandarin within the next 20 years.

When US troops were hunting the Taliban in Afghanistan, they kept running over the Pakistan border to avoid pursuit. Maybe Pakistan should've considered the future, back then.

Yeah, but it's still an elected congress, right? What he "had" to do is recognize he does not have the support he needs to the things he wants and try to make the best of the situation. Not break the system to remove opposition.
But I'm just an outsider, so there could be more I'm missing.

Yeah Brazil just got rid of a Russia puppet(Bolsonaro, as trump was a big Putin buff), they need to rebuild the country. The neutrality is historical. Brazil don't meddle with regional conflicts.

Liberalism is neither left or right (left / right being oversimplified description of complicated ideas)
You can be liberal wanting small government and free market but conservative with your views on gender and sexuality.

Blaming the victim and being neutral is not the same thing.
Austria is neutral, doesnt send weapons and yet it doesnt blame ukraine for getting invaded.

Israel recycle 80% of it’s water, and give it back to the agriculture sector to use as grey water. And the Israeli agricultural sector is by far the smartest in it’s use of water, developing water management tech and technics. Israel has the least amount of water lost to leakage because it developed a way to track the pressure in all the pipes in the country and find the exact location of water leaks and fix them immediately. The water being misused in countries that has more renewable energy is at least as big of problem as Israel not using enough renewable energy.

But Brazil kept trading with both the Axis and the Allies until German submarines sank Brazilian merchant ships in the Atlantic, leading Brazil to declare war on Germany.

At the time of his attempt Castillo had already faced 2 impeachment attempts and the 3rd led by the powerful Congress specifically the allies of Keiko Fujimori were gearing up for 1 more but lacked the support. Probably when Castillo realized he will never be able to accomplish anything without removing a Congress who clearly hates him

No, the money is to help minimize deforestation. Brazil have no regional conflicts. They have internal affairs. Rainforest deforestation is as urgent as the Russian invasion, to the future of the planet.
