Worked in customer service for over 10 years. I don't believe we will manage to control climate change, people will murder their neighbors if it will allow them to forgo an inconvenience.

I had to argue with a lady who wanted to send her kid to pickup an item that was in a closed section because of heavy rains comming through the ceiling and bringing all the lights down in the puddles.

It is not modern war, it is WW1 style war. West will end war against Russia in few weeks with massive precision long range strikes destroying their communications, electricity, weapons storage and paralysing logistics. War in Ukraine is far from being modern. It is WW1 with some fancy toys.

Lula said "Brazil has no interest in passing on ammunition to be used in the war between Ukraine and Russia. Brazil is a country of peace. At this moment, we need to find those who want peace, a word that until now has been used very little." But reddit warmongers with hot takes want russian blood. Obviously they dont care that there are real people and not just an entity called Russia or Ukraine. The same people forget about all the wars and exploitations that their rich countries entered. Protestant mentality does this to you.

While Israel has done very little to combat global warming and adopt new green techs in a commercial way (despite Israel being a leader in green tech R&D), the country is so small that it has completely negligible impact on it. A single city in the US has about the same impact as the whole country. So while criticism is in order, it's rather meaningless at the end of the day.
