You are being down voted. Not because your post isn't true. They just don't like being compared to persons of color.

Noone is taking about investing 10 percent here, how about 2? Or 2.2? Enough to recapitalize our dilapidated equipment and infrastructure so our stuff doesn't get people killed. Also, we like our military to be able to do things like participate in international ops or peacekeeping. At our current manning and equipment state, we can hardly manage Latvia, let alone everything else the government seems to want.

> For those of us who wfh, the impact of the lockdowns may not seem like much. But there are many people whose lives and small businesses have forever been impacted by them
I can't speak to other countries, but "muh small businessmen" in the US got insanely generous handouts, many of which were almost entirely forgiven without question.
I understand the whole "DAE literally everyone on the planet just became a total pussy in Spring of 2020 when they shoulda sacked up and dealt with it?", but medical supplies aren't infinite. Or did you forget that whole part of it? I'm real sorry some shithead had their Mom and Pop bowling ally closed down, but everyone was dealing with some shit at the time and "idk maybe most of us are gonna be ok..." sounded as stupid then as it does now.

It’s not just drugs you guys are animals in America anyways. If it wasn’t for drugs it would be for violent offences.

Latin American countries with narco terrorists driving mass migration? That’s successful? How ignorant do young be to be to call a country with cartels successful

This is just opinion piece from a person who "was" an advisor. Like armchair experts like us, our opinion doesn't matter in grander scheme of geopolitics. Even if Obama criticise India it would mean jack shit.
Even Ukrainian President Zelensky has not criticised India. He even invited Indian PM to Ukraine.

Jets is going to be really difficult because of high training requirements to be useful in the way Ukraine wants. Russia has the fighters but still can't use them because their pilots simply aren't well trained enough to pull off SEAD/DEAD, so if they use them they just get obliterated by Ukrainian AA.
Ukraine won't be able to take control of it's skies either if it can't run SEAD/DEAD missions and the training requirement is extremely steep. Like, we need to get them training now so maybe they can do this next year, and that's assuming they learn as quickly on the jets as they did on the HIMARs.

yeah, the 'just in time' style production form the war on terror where a company sized force would be a big thing is kinda out the window now. We literally need millions of shells and billions of rifle rounds sitting ready. If anything, only the US was seriously stocking stuff in reserves, and that's probably only serendipitously happening because some ammo contract was in a marginal district or some shit.

The more precise term austria uses would be militarily neutral. No weapons trade with warring states. But humanitarian goods get donated by the state en mass, only towards ukraine. And no sane politician would say its ukraines(partial) fault.
What makes austria special in your mind?

Yeah, but the US has had 1.1 million total deaths. In Japan we've had under 70k.
