Reply to comment by EnricoPallazzo-- in Finland to stick with Sweden in NATO bid, hopes for green light by July by PjeterPannos
The F-16s appear to be the most likely "deal" that can be struck, and then sold to the Turkish public.
The US Senate for one appears rather annoyed with "Turkey's continued failure to ratify Sweden and Finland's accession", and will not be greenlighting any arms deals before Turkey has remedied its "failure".

I think just in time production is correct. However what we are missing is massive numbers of factories that can scale up production fast. (including their entire supply chain). That is a lot of factories that have the ability to produce 10,000 per day, but in reality only are turned on for a few hours every year to make sure everything still works.

The IOC has revoked a total of 149 medals In its history, due to athletes doping.
Russia makes up 51 of those medals revoked.
They are not actual competitors, they cheat.
It's very telling. im curious your thoughts on that.

It is strange that every economic metric shows open economy improved the quality of life for the poor and lifted them from poverty but somehow economic growth is the problem here

He’s not wrong, recently, within the last five years, the Inuit community got railed after a sighting of an orca pod of 3, then they proceeded to kill them all, lose one, and then sell them.

Show me where I said, "Everyone in India works in a call center". Yes, I know they've sent a probe. Proud of them. Space centers and call centers are not the same thing. Where's my contradiction?

Yes the colonial occupation was the biggest cause. But when India got independence it could have charted a better economic model for faster prosperity.

Happy people also use drugs. Drug use permeates every strata of society. Some people use drugs to escape life. Some people use drugs to enrich their lives.

Without Western support, Ukraine would be taken over by Russia. I trust that you oppose that outcome, yes?
Russia is the one who is not willing to negotiate, Zelensky was desperately trying to contact Putin to talk with him at the start of the war only to be ignored by him.
NATO expansion is not a justification for the war, since NATO does not pose a threat to Russia.

I understand why they’re using them and think it might be justified. But it’s important to remember that the most frequent victims of land mines are civilians, long long after the actual war has ended.
I wish Ukraine luck but also I hope they’re keeping track of where they lay mines

It's not true. The war wouldn't keep going without support from the West - and it's Zelensky who refuses peace talks.
Also it's the American military expansion in Europe that bothers Putin. It's not a random invasion. So the peace talks would need to involve the US and possibly their allies.

This looks like a good step, but no one ever mentions the underlying cause of drug use. The simple fact is that happy people don't use drugs. The vast majority of users are doing so because they have experienced trauma or have other issues.
We need to figure out how to give people the support they need so they don't have to turn to drugs. The best way to end widespread drug use is to stop creating more users.
