The F-16s appear to be the most likely "deal" that can be struck, and then sold to the Turkish public.

The US Senate for one appears rather annoyed with "Turkey's continued failure to ratify Sweden and Finland's accession", and will not be greenlighting any arms deals before Turkey has remedied its "failure".

I think just in time production is correct. However what we are missing is massive numbers of factories that can scale up production fast. (including their entire supply chain). That is a lot of factories that have the ability to produce 10,000 per day, but in reality only are turned on for a few hours every year to make sure everything still works.

Without Western support, Ukraine would be taken over by Russia. I trust that you oppose that outcome, yes?

Russia is the one who is not willing to negotiate, Zelensky was desperately trying to contact Putin to talk with him at the start of the war only to be ignored by him.

NATO expansion is not a justification for the war, since NATO does not pose a threat to Russia.

> Human Rights Watch on Tuesday called on Ukraine to investigate its military's alleged use of landmines near the eastern Ukrainian city of Izyum.

> The human rights group found physical evidence of landmine use - including unexploded mines, the remnants of mines, the metal cassettes that carry the mines and the blast signatures of mines - at seven of the nine locations in Izyum.

> Human Rights Watch noted that Ukraine is a signatory of the 1997 Mine Ban Treaty, which banned the use of landmines.

This looks like a good step, but no one ever mentions the underlying cause of drug use. The simple fact is that happy people don't use drugs. The vast majority of users are doing so because they have experienced trauma or have other issues.

We need to figure out how to give people the support they need so they don't have to turn to drugs. The best way to end widespread drug use is to stop creating more users.
