I hope so, and I imagine that's true from a top-down perspective. But I suspect that the lower level troops, many of whom are not professionals, are probably a little more focused on rapid deployment rather than perfect documentation. Which is understandable, if not ideal

I didn’t claim an immediate prosperity from a colonial rule.
I can’t really fault the economic policies from independence to around 60’s. What caused the slow growth was a bunch of economic policies that included nationalisation in the 70s. That crippled the economy and almost went bankrupt in late eighties and nineties.

I bet that among the list of training that the Ukrainian military received documenting landmine placement was on the list.

The F35 is dual capable. IRC the F16 and F15 are too. They can carry nukes.
I can imagine that would be one of the reasons they're hesitant to send stuff like that. Russians see a plane that could be carrying a nuclear bomb. It's flying towards the border. They could come to the wrong conclusion, especially if it's a stealth plane, and they're worried they might lose it.

I can attest to Israeli irrigation technology. Netafim makes, by a wide margin, the best irrigation products in the agriculture sector. Their drip products that incorporate check valves save me a ton of water every year by not draining the lines at the end of the irrigation pulse. Saves me close to 5 gallons per day, and I'm a small producer.

He wouldn't have allowed democratic elections to occur, right? Plus, I'm pretty sure he would've annexed parts of Ukraine that are currently being fought over.
>We're not at the start of the war, are we? Right now it's Zelensky that rules out peace talks. Plus it's not like things started at the start of the war. There was a long history of Minsk agreements going nowhere.
Zelensky is ruling out peace talks with Putin because Ukraine tried to have talks with Putin only for them to be ignored. Russia said that Ukraine must acknowledge annexed territory as Russian, so they are not willing to negotiate.
>The US would be able to fill Crimea to the brim with military bases and missiles, and Russia would be unable to do anything up until the very moment of attack.
Ukraine was nowhere near to joining NATO, there were no plans of putting military bases in Crimea, and NATO wasn't going to attack Russia due to MAD.

Well, yeah, but then again we've never before been a decade away from an actual, real Q10+ fusion reactor, even if it's not intended to be a commercial one, and now we are.

Can you give me an example of a post-colonial nation that was able to become economically prosperous immediately after obtaining freedom using only free market capitalist economics?

I don't wish it, that's for sure. I also don't think Putin intended to annex the entire Ukraine. He might have intended a regime change.

We're not at the start of the war, are we? Right now it's Zelensky that rules out peace talks. Plus it's not like things started at the start of the war. There was a long history of Minsk agreements going nowhere.

NATO surely can be used as a shield for American military expansion. The US would be able to fill Crimea to the brim with military bases and missiles, and Russia would be unable to do anything up until the very moment of attack.

Can’t compare countries with different levels of growth and in different phases.
Socialism is a rich country’s economic model. One has to reach sufficient levels of prosperity and wealth to start dabbling in that
