I would have to guess it'll depend on how they organize afterwards. A lot of the equipment will also have gone through a tough war and most is older stuff. Probably a lot will be scrapped, some might be returned if working and still used in those countries inventories. It'll take a long time since I'm sure they'll want to reduce equipment variety and restart their own arms industry again.

How it really helps is that people wouldn’t be afraid of reaching out for help and scoring these drugs wouldn’t be so dangerous. It would help people test for additives, seek mental/emergency services more readily, and help reduce the stigma around these substances. Instead of jail, those that are battling addiction would now be more free to talk about it in the open. I wouldn’t say people seek these substances out because they’re forbidden, but rather it’s almost always stress/pain/mental illness of some kind. Now we also need to add a ton of rehabilitative services that are low cost or covered by MSP.

There's also the huge issue of getting people help. Understandably, when someone is in possession of illegal drugs, theyre going to be wary about getting help from a group that might have ties to the government. You decriminalize basic possession and it opens more of those people up to seeking help.

People don't want to admit Russia is close to Israel. I don't mind the down votes. Russian is the 3rd most spoken language in Israel, after Hebrew and Arabic, and before English.

There's a reason Ukraine is getting no military aid from one of the most powerful militaries in the world.

Any who, back to your good vs evil programing...

We're totally working on fusion technology, and it's coming along at a nice pace. Every now and then we beat previous thresholds for how much energy it's generating.

In terms of "working together", that would indeed be idea. Just look at what the EU does for energy infrastructure across all the EU countries. Imagine if we gave the UN the mandate and funding to do that, but for the world. Just through economies of scale we'd have a much, much more efficient electricity system.

Unfortunately at this point the realist in my comes out and it becomes easy to pick that apart by what would really happen if we tried. "My country should get more and if you don't do x we'll pull funding!"
