> Manila - Philippine protesters rallied on Saturday to mark the 37th anniversary of the "People Power" revolution, which ousted President Ferdinand Marcos Jr's dictator father and sent the family into exile.

> Thirteen-year-old Kyle Navera said he had heard "Bad things happened" to people who opposed Marcos Sr. "It looks like he is starting. I hope he does not go down that path," Navera said, referring to the ongoing deadly drug war started by Marcos Jr's predecessor Rodrigo Duterte.

> As an ailing Marcos Sr desperately clung to power in 1986, hundreds of thousands of protesters took to the streets of the capital for four days in a military-backed uprising against his regime.

China did nothing wrong?

China has no jurisdiction there at all. Those small islands are super close to the Philippines and far, far away galaxy from China. The Hague ruling doesn't recognize their fake 9-dash line. Older maps predate that sham. Other SEA countries also have claims there. They've been blocking and pushing away their neighbors' local fishermen from their own ancestral waters. They are illegally there in the first place.

A little something for people offended that india buys russian oil

Trade is clearly a focus of the trip, but that there's another layer to this did not escape the German ambassador to India, Philipp Ackermann. He explained at a press briefing ahead of the trip: "India buying oil from Russia is none of our business. Basically, that's something that the Indian government decides ... what we would like to see, of course, is an Indian engagement at some stage."

Genuine question - what would your opinion be if you knew China has been bullying, threatening, harassing, pushing away their neighbors' fishermen from their own ancestral waters, stealing and illegally reclaiming their small islands from them? Depriving them of their food and livelihood since their ancestors, suddenly no more as China vessels and their militia are there?

Didn't you know their fake 9-dash line is already invalidated by the Hague Ruling? Older maps predate that sham.

Didn't you know those small islands are super close to the Philippines and are far, far away galaxy from China?

Didn't you know they also just recently blocked, pushed away, and fired their lasers on unarmed PH Coastguard, again from their own waters? Some friend, huh?

But of course you purposefully ignore those. Genuine questions.

yep the cycle continues....same thing happened with india and pak during cold war 1.

india was a soviet satellite and pak was a us satellite but unlike pak india is a well managed country which is hpe to do well with western investments and not spread radicalism and terrorism and focus on actual growth.

I agree with you 100%. To my knowledge, there hasn't been any comprehensive polling in regard to the German populace's view on the delivery of Leo tanks etc. as of yet.

People are scared of the escalation any major deliveries of arms may cause. They are scared of a full on NATO-Russian war, which is understandable. They criticise NATO's eastward expansion as well as the USA's imperialist/militarist stance now and in the past. They shout "peace" but ignore Russia's utter disregard toward Ukraine's right to even exist. They are apologists and choose to ignore that Russia basically wants to eradicate Ukraine as a culture / sovereign nation.

To many, the situation is a dilemma, which is why they draw historical comparisons to US American illegitimate wars of the past.

The iron done isn't meant for missiles like this, and trying to use the Iron Dome against Paveh will be most probably, if not definitely, useless.

Israel has other systems against this kind of missiles, like Arrow 2 and 3. But I'm pretty sure there's no official known number of this missiles, especially since Israel hasn't used them (thankfully) in real combat, yet. So technically, it is a possibility that Iran will have more missiles here than Israel.

The best defence is offence - so I'm pretty sure Israel would prefer just bombing the shit out of all their known bases, as simultaneously as possible, to prevent any missile from launching into Israel.

Edit: I do think that the EU really has a reason to support Israel in neutralizing Iran.

Iran and Syria, can easily shoot this missile into eastern Europe. Just looking on Google earth shows it can reach most of Ukraine, and all of Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and all the countries that reside in their area.

In a few short years, they can get it even further, and deeper into Europe...and guess who lately basically began a war on Iran, adding it into their terrorists list?
