Europe is using Ukraine as a reason to remilitarize. It’s not just Germany. Poland is going all in on spending. The Nordic countries are setting up a joint air defense plan. Even Italy is ramping up its military.

After all these years, they realized that 1) it was not the ‘end of history’, 2) they can’t depend on the US for everything, and 3) Russia is going to keep at it. People overly focus on what the US is doing, but Europe is changing too.

One of the answers was that I received seemed to imply that there was a secret US Government conspiracy to kill off girls and prevent them from learning in any shape or capacity, which is the reason for my snark-ridden replies here.

I certainly consider myself to be open to logical dialogue here. I would be interested to discuss findings or observations.

Right, so I'm having trouble in my neighborhood meeting trying to get safe bicycle infrastructure put in, which is constantly being blocked people preserving street parking, or switching from gas stoves and heating equipment to electric (even though the electric is in large part still GHG based), but you're only asking people to turn their front yard into fucking farmland, and convert the worlds largest economy into one built on subsistence farming.

I honestly feel like your arguments are so naively idealistic that you'd have a hard time convincing your neighbor that it's feasible, much less an entire city.

This argument are in the same vein of the cultural revolution, and that didn't end well.

India is not preventing anything they also sell goods to Russia. Technically India is helping the regime. I am calling you out on making excuses to justify these actions with unsubstantiated claims. India government is just trying to profit of the war crisis to buy oil cheap and increase their GDP

At the end it’s fine but don’t expect Redditors in general who feel the pain of the Ukrainians, to appreciate these actions AND OP coming out to cry about it
