Asked by LBC's Andrew Marr if the Kremlin would resort to the nuclear option, ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin replied: "In this conflict? No, we have a very clear doctrine, and it is describing a very precise case when a nuclear weapon can be used.

omfg. So I aurora chase as a hobby. I've actually got a bit of a following for my updates and pics. articles like this cause my phone to light up with everyone tagging me and messaging asking what time it will arrive, like to the minute, and other dumb questions. after last week's big show people went insane. it was nonstop pics of clouds asking if it was the aurora. One aurora 'influencer' quit after getting so much hate mail because the lights didn't produce that night. there were traffic jams on Georgian bay because 1000s of people came looking for the lights. cops had to be called. I kinda hoped the news would ignore this flare but alas I better go charge my phone before this gains traction.

Would it be possible to at least limit the damage to public facilities and not private businesses? They have absolutely nothing to do with it. Even then looting wouldn’t be ok.

On a side note, I think it’s great that the people stand up and make their voice heard. With all the technology we should work less and not more.

It’s kinda like ensign Sulu once said

  • Do not repeat the tactics which have gained you one victory, but let your methods be regulated by the infinite variety of circumstances

And how prolonged war benefits no one. And how fighting often with someone is a bad idea because they get to know you.

Russia was more successful at the same playbook when they used it at intervals. Not so when exposing themselves to a protracted engagement.

Now their playbook is obvious. Lie. Deny. And when caught feign disbelief.

Sulu said he was all about peace but we all know better from his book about war.

Ah yes, the mythical 10k T-72s. That were stored outside in Siberia. That the base commander stole the maintenance money from? The ones that the mechanics ripped out the optics and fire control systems out of and sold on the black market? The ones the sergeants sold the ERA blocks out off on the black market? And the ones the privates ripped the wires out of so they could sell the copper to the scrap dealer for vodka money? Those 10k T-72s?
