Having worked in aerospace, I really hate how Boeing dominates the industry.

But I gotta tell you, I am impressed by how quickly they went from prototype and demo to a working beta. And yes it is a beta, which means that it will improve rapidly. And the Russians are the testers.

Any artillery that out ranges their worn out soviet era junk is “long range”. They are just upset that they are being shown up…for over a year…by what they coined an easy target. They keep sending their male population into a country that is not theirs and are also upset that that country’s population keeps on fighting. Easy way out of this you 19th century asswipes…take the hint and go back home!

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 93%. (I'm a bot)

> Chinese leader Xi Jinping says he is preparing for war.

> At the annual meeting of China's parliament and its top political advisory body in March, Xi wove the theme of war readiness through four separate speeches, in one instance telling his generals to "Dare to fight." His government also announced a 7.2 percent increase in China's defense budget, which has doubled over the last decade, as well as plans to make the country less dependent on foreign grain imports.

> In his third speech, on March 8 to representatives from the PLA and the People's Armed Police, Xi declared that China must focus its innovation efforts on bolstering national defense and establish a network of national reserve forces that could be tapped in wartime.

They’re all the same species, Acinonyx jubatus. Just different subspecies (Acinonyx jubatus jubatus and Acinonyx jubatus venaticus) and genetic studies show a separation of only 32,000 and 67,000 years between the Asiatic subspecies and African subspecies.

Wait, with the US? With the entire Western world? Can't we discuss this? The West was happy for China when the economic miracle raised people out of poverty. But there were some business deals that seemed unfair. Now China is hostile. Can't we all just take a deep breath and imagine world peace?

I know it might not necessarily apply here, but don't the authoritarian regimes ever get tired of ALWAYS being the ones to directly threaten violence first? When has that ever succeeded?

No doubt we enjoy antagonizing them, but the US is never the first person in the conversation threatening missile strikes and nuclear detonations. Mostly, I assume, because we don't really need to. Still, though. Do they really not realize what reactionary and fragile idiots they look like when they try for an intimidation tactic that literally never works?
