This has been projected since 1990 and the date continues to be pushed back. The aging population will only make this more difficult if not impossible. In 2035 they will be fully realizing this reality. Come back and remind me when it happens.

Can’t we just lock the entire country of Russia out of the world wide web? Like, close the valve for these assholes and let the rest of the world do their thing? I have no idea how internet juices work.

Do the youth in your country or China have an opportunity to vote for their leader and preferred policies?

To me it fits in with the culture of corruption we’ve seen is rampant in Russian military and government.
“You’ll give me money and/or goods as long as I keep you informed on things I see and hear? Sure Sounds great. I don’t even have to organize the logistics of getting it to the black market.”
I’m sure the Alphabet organizations long history of connections from the Cold War helps as well, but the fact you could probably cut a deal with any Russian officer for five grand, a real bottle of wine, and a fruit basket has to play a big factor.

Yep, pointing out how spammers who have a profit motive do not waste effort on costly games is a bad comparison as Russia is not in it for capital profit.

First, the Confederacy was never the legitimate government of the United States, while Chiang Kai Shek's government was in China. Second, Mao never completely overthrew all of China, just the mainland. So by your logic, well, I can't find any logic there, just an attempt to equate two very unrelatable scenarios.

Hijacking this comment to ask a question!
Does anyone know what the actual 'justification' is? I mean ok let's say you're extremely religious and sexually conservative, so you want men and women segregated. It's moronic but I can follow the 'logical' steps.
But how do these extremists justify closing down women-only spaces? AFAIK there's nothing in their religion that forbids women from reading or congregating amongst themselves ? What's the theocratic basis?
Anyone got a serious reply?

Like the 20,000 school children who died in Sichuan province when many of the schools in the region collapsed during an earthquake due to shoddy construction? Nothing better than seeing those "tofu construction" buildings completed.

This argument doesn't make any sense. Iraqi oil was already on the market. In fact Iraqi oil production was decimated because of the war. They only reached pre war levels of production a few years ago. It literally had the opposite affect your claiming. Oil was more expensive for years after the war.
