This kind of thing is exactly why the Biden administration warned all Americans to immediately leave Russia back on February 13th.

Reply to The Catholic Church took a fresh step Thursday in acknowledging abuse endured by Indigenous peoples with the Vatican formally rejecting 15th-century papal edicts that empowered Europeans to colonize non-Christian lands by DoremusJessup
Do you honestly feel that the Papal approval was the reason that the Europeans colonized non-Christian lands. Britain, who colonized Canada, was the largest Empire in the world, yet it’s a Protestant country. They didn’t need the Pope’s approval, in fact they probably said Fk the Pope. The US Supreme Court enshrined the Doctrine of Discovery, and America’s not a Catholic country. It’s simply used as an excuse for taking the land, clearly they don’t believe the Pope has the authority to tell countries what to do or Henry the 8th would still be married.

Now if only people could focus more on what churches were much more involved in Canada and America's policies. Of course they're more like rich bloated corpses so it's not exactly that viable.

Population matters in the matters of state. In a country that is a democracy.
The world, as a whole, isn't a democracy. World wide decisions aren't made according to population.
And the G7 isn't the entire west, just as the entire east (or w/e you want to call it) isn't just BRICS. The west, as a whole, still has a more powerful economy.
In the end, it's "made in China" (or India) because they're cheap labor for the west to purchase.

Why do Taliban have so much support in Afghanistan? They are a symptom not a cause.

Believe it or not, the USA is in the minority in having a trade deficit with China. Most countries it’s the other way round

US did not invade Korea in the Korean war. Where are you getting your history? NK invaded SK. The UN forces, authorized by the security counsel, fought back the NK invaders.

Reply to The capabilities of Russia are limited: the spring conscription may hinder Russia from replenishing its military units in Ukraine - Родинний затишок by I_am__Ukrainian
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 54%. (I'm a bot)
> Experts at the institute believe that Russian conscripts are unlikely to be sent to fight in Ukraine, but the Ministry of Defense will still have to allocate resources to them.
> The fact that conscripts who will not be sent to war in 2023 will take up these training resources deprives the Kremlin of the ability to train reservists and volunteers.
> At the institute, it is acknowledged that the Russian government may attempt to recruit soldiers for the war in Ukraine, either by forcing or convincing some of the conscripted soldiers who are nearing the end of their service and have some level of training to sign contracts to fight.

So wait, God said it was OK 600 years ago, but now it's not OK? So God changed his mind? Hmmm.

Even sicker is we won’t for a change. And “they” know it. We aren’t even a concern for “them.”
I come from revolutionaries bloodline and generationally.
The LAST time I had hope for the much overdue American revolution was when we all watched Egypt do it on live cnn.
I thought, perhaps america was a tactile learner, such as myself, and just needed to see it in action, to see what it will take to make changes.
I fear our time has passed. “They” will watch us do the same, to eachother in civil wars amongst ourselves. Only a real live version of hunger games with a rat race movie undertone to it. Is my suspicion at this point of these upcoming times.

On the contrary, with China, what they’re doing is a form or predatory lending, which exacerbates a country’s economic woes, sometimes into a crisis — and China is well-aware of this. They know these countries shouldn’t be given loans, but they do so because they know they can’t pay them back, and have to give up assets in return. This is why it’s a trap, and more countries are finally waking up to this.
>>Bangladesh’s finance minister Mustafa Kamal has warned that developing nations must 'think twice' about taking more loans through China's Belt and Road Initiative. He said 'Beijing's poor lending decisions' are pushing already indebted nations into economic distress. Highlighting Sri Lanka's crisis, the Bangladesh Finance Minister said that China must follow a more robust process for evaluating its loans.

Im not advocating for going back - I’m saying the withdrawal was horrendous, and I wish that had not happened.
I’m glad that you recognize the importance of guns for self defense.
At what point do I let it go? Probably at the point where there aren’t comments on Reddit about how it is Trumps fault that the last female library in Afghanistan has closed.
