Russia is a star fucker. Iran has a regime that hates the exact same people Russia hates and have been nothing but supportive in their bullshit, but because they're not the up and coming global powers, Russia is going to just leave them as a backup.

These are the assholes who wonder why they have no friends in their 30s despite thinking themselves popular in their twenties.

What in God’s name are you talking about, lol. A de-escalation hotline is common- and a very good idea- among powers, especially ones that don’t get along. It’s how you make sure that nobody accidentally starts a shooting war. The US has had multiple examples with Russia and China (and still does right now!!!), and it’s an extremely good thing. It absolutely does not mean Japan is “playing both sides,” lol jfc

A suitable equivalent would be to ask any Jews if they are still angry about the Holocaust. Most would say yes but would also acknowledge that that times have changed and should strive for collaboration instead

That being said, Japan's imperial army flag is the equivalent of the Nazi swastika flag and they need to change it 🤣

Too bad Truman and Nehru didn’t hit it off well. I’m glad the US came around decades later. It took Clinton to unlock India’s great talent by increasing H1-B visas and allowing US back office outsourcing. India sends us your very best and produces some of the best managers to run complex organizations.

Now if we can just figure out how to tap Iran’s vast pool of talent we can put another bad chapter to rest! https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/countries-with-the-most-engineering-graduates.html
