You increase your chance of actually being served by making an appointment. People are busy and everyone else wants to do the same thing you do.

Padlock it. I’d love to see one figure out how to pick a lock. Carabiners aren’t good enough.

Yah you can take the T between the two but last I remember (like ten years ago) the T stop isn’t actually in North Station either, it’s a block or so away.

The definition of tourism is pretty broad, and is pretty much any travel for over 24hr outside where you spend the day to day. It includes business travel too.

Ah we had an even bigger ole wood-fired kitchen stove like that back when I used to live in Kingfield. Man I miss that place.
Someday I’ll have two woodstoves in the same house to tend again, and I’ll have “made it”.

We say that, but how much money and time is lost repairing the network year after year after year due to relatively predictable events?

Some of the pine boughs around my house were sagging over 10ft with over a foot of snow and ice weighing them down. That’s how. Water is a hell of a force of nature.

Name a non-divided, non-state/interstate highway in maine with a speed limit above 55mph. I’ll wait.
It doesn’t exist. People may do 65-70 on US201 in the West forks, but the speed limit is still only 55.

It’s a steal at $15

Per 100 million vehicle miles driven, yes.
Massachusetts has the lowest fatality rate based on that metric.
Maine (1.25 deaths/100 million miles) has double the same rate that MA has (.63).

I mean I get DOT fucked up but… people sat there for two fucking hours instead of just driving around to one of the 2 other bridges that cross I-295 in Freeport??
Plus there’s Durham RD in Brunswick and theres the option to go down to yarmouth too. Please tell me it would not have taken 2 hours to try one of those…
There’s mallet drive, desert road, and old county road and they’re all only a couple miles apart at most.
