Welp that doesn't change what everyone I've inquired about this with has told me: some select board positions are unelected.

You can believe what you want, multiple people who work for my town have made it painfully clear that I'm not.

Ask around. You may be surprised..

Edit: I'm not reading an entire handbook on this. Can you point me to where it discusses this issue specifically? Which chapter of the document covers this?

And you're taking advantage of the special on that today it seems!

There's demand, which should encourage supply. The nimbys who don't want development are the problem, not Americans who want to live in a different American state.

I hope Vermont stays taken from you :)

It's the second least populated state in the country, and Vermont is a part of the US, so I don't really see the problem with more people coming here when the state is desperate for young families to the point that theyre paying people to move here lol

You could ask me to clarify if you don't understand what I mean! Kindness is free!

Lmfao you don't like it when I say you're, obviously, mad but you get to say I'm afraid. That's rich! I dont need a gun like you, so what are you preparing for that has you so afraid that you need a gun?

My working theory is that you're projecting. People with violent criminal histories don't get to have guns, why that bothers you is incredibly suspect.

I dont have a history of criminal violence, so if I want a gun I can have one. Sorry! You don't get to if you've been a violent piece of shit to people!

That you're more concerned with their "right" to have the means to kill people rather than the right to vote once they get out says a lot too!

As per the article

"charged with his third offense of carrying a loaded firearm without a license, illegal possession of a firearm without a license with a prior violent offense"

It's not a victimless crime if it's a gun being carried by a person with a history of criminal violence.

His previous offense was not a victimless crime and it's why he's not allowed to have a gun.
