I know that. What I’m saying is that because FONZ dissolved, that messed with who the zoo was allowed to contract with. They have to go through a whole different, more complex process through the federal government that FONZ didn’t have to do with outside event companies (like light companies). That greatly impacted events like Zoolights. So if FONZ contracted with Joe Schmoe for light decorations for zoo lights in 2019, but the federal government didn’t have a working relationship with Joe Schmoe in 2022, they couldn’t be used for the 2022 zoo lights. That greatly impacted it this year since the zoo couldn’t go with most of the purveyors from previous years (on top of a slashed budget).

I currently am not driving but mine is just a personal fear of getting side-swiped (or doing the side-swiping). My car died so I don't drive anymore for the time being but I find that a lot of uber/lyft drivers completely ignore the lanes and will drift around with no regard for cars around them. For me personally that is what I find to be the most stressful and what prompted this post lol.

Cathedral Park Condominiums in Cleveland Park is extremely quiet. When I lived there I never heard my neighbors. They are mostly owned, but some rental companies buy + rent them out (I rented). So while I don't have a website to steer you towards, the address is 3100 Connecticut Ave NW - maybe you can find something with availability online

Oh man just an FYI the PP Carol Moses Center IUD insertion for me in 2017 was the worst pain I felt in my life - worse than my first IUD (I think my OB at the time gave me misoprostol for my first one)

My Planned Parenthood IUD experience has made me avoid going to the OBGYN for 5.5 years

I live in neighboring Cleveland Park and I moved there in my late 20s (I'm 30 now). I really enjoy it here - there's a lot of nature and a nice community. I will say that the tradeoff is that it is quiet. Similar to Woodley, there are the staple bars but it's more catered to parks and stuff rather than city slicking.

Perhaps Cleveland Park can't be compared to WP, but if you like a quieter, more chill area close to nature it's a great fit.

if you're looking to be in the Northwest area but want something a little more exciting, I'd recommend Mount Pleasant. I've never lived there but I'd probably move there if I moved from CP.
