Yep. Downtowns need to build up (even just 3-5 stories). Nice and dense and compact and mixed use - like European towns. That leaves lots of space for nature, and makes services easier and cheaper too.

Having lived and visited places with long established legal dispensaries, I really don’t care if the price is double than the black market- I like knowing my stuff wasn’t sprayed with roundup and/or smuggled across a border and supporting some super sketch people. I like knowing what strain it is, getting to know what terpenes it has, how much THC/CBD it has. Less important, but also nice, is I support a tax paying business.

I also enjoy a light buzz and my tolerance is relatively low- so 3.5 grams can last me a whole month if I’m just enjoying a one hitter at night, so the cost isn’t that big of a deal to me. Also- edibles with real dosages are a game changer for me.
