lol. Lithium cells can't just be hooked up to the grid and work. There are tons of complex systems managing those batteries and the pack as a whole to make it work. It's like saying everything powered by a Honda engine is a Honda. All planes are either Rolls-Royce or GE as they make the engines.

No reason to think it wasn't a test. Not everything is a conspiracy.

That little formula hides how complex the calculation was. This was a much larger change than was expected but still within error margins.

It's like 90% of comments on DART posts.

That's only because you don't understand it at all. Look into the mission properly.
DART smashed into a small asteroid that is orbiting a larger one which is orbiting the Sun. The smaller asteroid's orbit was shrunk from ~12h to ~11.5h. It's still gravitationally bound to the larger asteroid which is still gravitationally bound to the Sun. Nothing was really changed. There was never any danger in drastically altering this asteroids orbit and put it on a collision course with Earth.
Saying we altered the destiny of the universe is beyond egotistical.

That's exactly how it works. To use the star was just recently consumed. This is our reality and it is 100% true. To the black hole and the star this happened 665 million years ago while you won't be born and therefore won't exist for 665 million years. It's not that the black hole isn't aware of you. Do do not exist in the black hole's reference frame.

Not really. Our reality is our reference frame. To us this event just happened. To the black hole you won't be born for 665 million years yet here you are.
There is no absolute reference frame.

Any matter we can see with light isn’t a candidate for Dark Matter. It also has to outnumber all the visible matter 5:1.

Stellar mass black holes are similar to large stars and these are what are roaming around. SMBH are basically only found at the centre of galaxies and due to that are exceedingly rare. Black holes pose was less of a threat to us than stars do as stars outnumber black holes a million to one or something else ridiculous.

Except the funding that makes it possible... Is this a challenging concept for you?
In the US the public is rarely in favour of spending tax dollars on science. People are constantly calling for NASA's budget to be reduced as they see no purpose in the science they do. Now try and replace all the private dollars with government ones and see how that's received.

Measuring stuff in the real world has error bars and reducing those error bars takes time.

Not really. The main reason they hit this asteroid was because it was a binary pair. This makes is way easier to measure the tiny change in orbit.

Apple still includes a cable. They don't include the brick. The EU is looking to make this law too to reduce on e-waste.
