As is the case with almost everything in NJ. Whats crazy to me is that those same people would stand to benefit way more than the current system.

A liquor license in NJ can run into $100,000's, even millions.

The GPS takes you that way? Just take the Lincoln tunnel which feeds directly onto Route 3 and exit off on 120 or 17 by Metlife Stadium. Takes you right to Rutherford/Carlstadt area.

Then call your reps and bug then about supporting this. Given NJ politicians I'm sure there's a few already plotting to either stop this or make it as limiting as possible once passed.

There is a proposed tax credit for people with "old" licenses to make it somewhat fair.

It's more than just taxi unions that's stopping it. When Chris Christie was Governor, he wanted to extend it directly to the airport but was stopped by various entities. That's about the only good idea he had.

Looks good from the pics. Now if only they can add direct access via train it would be perfect

This! People think a mayor, any mayor in a city is the person that dictates pricing at the snap of a finger. The reason for the high cost of living has numerous reasons and together give us the shit show of our real estate market.
Building more affordable housing is great but then it's not really affordable if our taxes go up even more because of it.
During the last election Lewis Spears Campaigned on affordable housing heavy but had a very poorly thought out plan. Aside from that subject he had very little idea or plan for any of the other issues JC is dealing with.

Why would you go through NYC to get to upstate NY? Lol. Take the turnpike to GW and get off in fort lee and trasnfer onto the Palisades Parkway (no tolls if you enter the turnpike from Route 3). Takes you into upstate NY. If you need to be on the eastern side of the Hudson in NY cross over the Tappan Zee or Cuomo bridge, whatever the hell it's called now
