Not terminate but from my understanding you can withhold rent if it has been a persistent issue. However, if you are not letting pest control come to your house for whatever reason then you have no ground to stand on because you are actively denying the "solution". I don't know what you're allergic to when it comes to pest as nothing that can be used for mice would cause an allergic reaction unless you come with direct contact which even then wouldn't do anything to you. Plus, any of the "repellents" rarely ever work. You're talking about an animal that can live in trash and is highly adaptable.
Unfortunately, this is going to go one of two ways. You let pest control do what needs to be done in your apartment or you continue living with the mice.

Not fast enough

Consolidation would solve so many of our problems in NJ but many residents, especially older ones, will always vote against it. Most common I've heard is because their town will lost its identity (but they always just say close to NYC) or having a smaller municipality is more properly governed and yet we are constantly one of the states with the most mismanagement.
There is absolutely no reason for majority of these small ass places to exist other than to allow for corruption. Nothing won't happen unless the residents start pushing for it and make it a priority

Seriously. I would prefer they convert Hudson Mall to more entertainment focused as opposed to shopping. That and Harborside are the only places that can fit these type of businesses.

Commercial space for something like this is at a premium. Something like that would need multplie rooms large enough to accommodate a group of people. Most commercial properties here are relatively small. It's why I kind of hate that any old warehouse or building is torn down just to building apartment buildings. There were some that could have been saved and turned into viable options for things like this.
Plus, if this sub is any indication, the noise complaints stemming from something like this would be through the roof. It would have to in a building with no residents or away from any residential buildings. The one in Palisade Park is a stand alone building shared with a medical office next door.

There is a comic book shop in Bayonne and a decent place in North Bergen that I've been to before. Don't know anything about the Bayonne one but the owner of the North Bergen location was a cool guy

Adult Bowling Alley
Thrift Store
Karaoke with private rooms like Karaoke rock 21 in palisades Park
More bars that allow music/live shows
DIY shops.
You can rent a space, tools, or whatever else you need in case you want to do work but don't have a large space or backyard. There was a spot in Hoboken but since the warehouse is being demolished and made into luxury apartments I don't know of any other locations on this side of the Hudson.
Edit: The same people from Hoboken moved to Union City and just opened in November. Their website here: https://www.thediyjoint.com/#home
Indoor Sports location. Various sports held inside. Basketball court, tennis court, batting cage (there is one in Union City), and whatever other sports they can fit comfortably.

I don't know too much about her but if anyone wants actually change people need to actually get out and vote or expect the same results. As a whole we need more people willing to challenge the current career politicians. Our "system" has been in place for decades and nothing has inherently changed.
So while I don't what policies she stands on it's good to see a relatively new face. We need more.
