Exactly, it can make you a target for a variety of reasons. Personally I’d rather not freak people out either, I carry because I’ve seen some horrible shit in this life not because I want to use it or act tough.

Pretty much, I own firearms but they’re kept secured and when I carry I carry on body and concealed. Rather not freak people out by open carrying, personally I’m not a fan of open carry because it seems like a lot of people who do so do it because they want attention.

You missed the part where the person of interest also stole the vehicle they’re in and there was body armor and a bunch of guns in the vehicle when it was stolen. That’s definitely not great. It should serve as a public service announcement do not leave firearms in your vehicle let alone several of them, that’s how you get several gun stolen and guns aren’t exactly cheap.

The US does not have a debtors prison system, your example does not work. People don’t get sent to prison because they can’t pay a judgment assuming they haven’t committed fraud or other financial crimes to avoid paying a settlement.

They’re shedding light on topics that a lot of people don’t know about and this information could be useful to them before they vote. They aren’t just telling people how they’re voting, they’re encouraging other people to vote the same way and explaining why. I don’t see what you’re complaining about.

People mostly kill them for food, times are tough where I live and a lot of people hunt for sustenance not for trophies.

Pack some foil emergency blankets, it’s going to be colder than you anticipate. You’d be amazed how much good a single foil blanket can do inside your sleeping bag even if it’s just around your legs or balled up around your feet.
