Only disagreement I would have with your post is the car centric piece. While Littleton is not car centric and probably has one of the most walkable downtown areas out there, if you want serious grocery shopping you need wheels. In Bethlehem they'll need wheels to get anything other than beer or coffee if they live near downtown.

Bethlehem is fine. You have all the amenities you need, to include a couple of restaurants in town and then Littleton stuff next door.

Only area related gripes would be is shitty grocery options. Shaws is suboptimal and the Coop is pricey. I know a bunch of folks who hit the Plymouth Market Basket.

and depending on how you articulate your position to the cops when they arrive, you'll spend at most an hour in cuffs while the prelim investigation is done.

"I was faced with an erratic dude with a weapon and genuinely feared for my/my family's life"

Two schools of thought when dealing with cops. First is the general do not talk to or cooperate with cops. The second is carefully talk to/cooperate with cops and then shut up. While I'm generally in the don't talk to cops type, the second one would apply here.

Two good vids that are worth the watch:

Don't talk to cops: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-7o9xYp7eE

Carefully cooperate with cops in a self defense shooting(I'm not a huge Ayoob fan as he is occasionally one of the some animals are more equal than others type people, but he is spot on here): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIJ4wLP_0UM

It's political silly season and it's reddit.

Just like out of state money increases ads on media sources, their henchpeeps are doing the same on SM.

You're never going to get enough reports on reddit to remove posts as reddit is 97% progressive people and the out of state ads speak to that population.

Look up who sponsored the legal weed bill that made it out of the NH house last year. Was it a perfect bill-heck no. It was the dumb liquor store model, but Abbas sponsored it and pushed it through.

Is it an outdoor wood boiler, or a stove in your house?

If a wood boiler, those things are pretty forgiving on what they'll burn. You don't necessarily need to splurge for kiln dried this late in the season.

If the stove, u/oper8orAF is spot on with getting things cleaned/inspected. Heck, you should do that with the wood boiler anyways.

Also look into chimney fire extinguishers such as Chimfex. Those things work.

For next year, consider getting your wood in late spring. That way it will have the whole summer to dry out a bit. Note that some species such as oak can take a couple years after being split to get down below 20% moisture content.

Can't help you out on wood in that area, sorry.

Check out r/firewood one of these days.
