and this is what makes me rage over events like this.

Why are people going around deliberately scaring children, faculty, their families, people working nearby, and all the while wasting police time.

I could almost see a distraction hoax being used if someone was to rob a bank on the other side of town, but these POSs are just doing it to scare people.

I really wanted to mow it one more time, but the snow we got a couple weeks ago stopped that plan. It stuck around on the lawn for almost 10 days before finally melting.

I didn't even get to do my traditional end of year mower shut off of running it out of gas. I ended up filling it up and ran some stabil through it, so I doubt I'll have any issues in the spring.

This sub is full of uptight thin skinned folks who somehow think reddit is real life and not an anonymous shit talking board. It's also hard to convey humor on the internet sometimes.

FTR, it made me chuckle because as soon as I saw the OP's post, I knew someone or multiple someones were going to post what you did.

To put a practical spin on it, how much would the state lose in restaurant tax revenue from losing this circus?

I'm not in the restaurant/bar industry, but how much revenue, wages, and tips would those folks lose?

That's my primary concern with losing it. I hate politics and politicians, but bringing the circus to town does have some benefit.

I like MHT, but they don't have too many direct flights the last time I looked.

Getting to BOS isn't horrible-expect combat driving and occasional delays, but I've never parked a car there so there is that.

I definitely feel for you folks that see increases each year. Especially as we all know pay hasn't gone up in most cases.

I'm probably the luckiest renter in the state or I just have an awesome landlord.

On my third year in the Lakes Region on yearly leases and the rent has remained the same. Granted it is above $2K a month, but I fully expected it to go up. This year the assessed value of the house went up $80K.

Props to my landlord as he leaves me alone, schedules preventative maintenance & includes me in the discussion, and quickly responded to the single maintenance issue I had.

My property tax situation further north is a different story. I turned in a packet to take a couple acres out of current use so I can build, but they haven't sent me the LUCT bill yet. I'm like, come on, I'm trying to give you money.

This is what I would do.

Definitely with the off road, but even some of the road taxed stuff is cheaper than heating oil. Golden Pond in Holderness is selling diesel for 4.99. They're typically one of the lowest prices in the state-heck 87 gas is 3.49 there when I drove by today. Good beer selection and subs too--not affiliated with them.

Go north of Manch. There are car dealers there for you to work at.

While this sub may not believe it, there is actually civilization here.

I've had the NH Jail recommended to me a couple of times. I have not seen their work though. https://www.nh.gov/nhdoc/divisions/corrrectional/index.html

If the NH inmates are as good as some of the work I saw at the Leavenworth Disciplinary Barracks, you would get what you're looking for.

but...I'm subscribing to this thread as I'll probably be looking for some stuff to be made within five years.
