Show up at the property and listen is an easy one.

I didn't buy land near a sawmill in Rumney for this reason. Not due to the noise from the saw or trucks, but due to the noise from the backup beapers on the equipment they were running.

Agreed with your assessment, but T-Mobile is slowly expanding into the dead spot areas where even Verizon doesn't cover(like along 25 west of Rumney). I don't have T-Mobile, but it is one of the carriers that Google-Fi rides on.

I have two phones.

Verizon is my primary cell and Google Fi is what I use as a 'home phone'. The two different networks were useful when I was search for property to buy. I don't really have any problems with Verizon, but Google Fi has given me coverage in some out of the way places like west of Rumney, etc.

Check out FedEx and UPS.

There is an industrial park in Littleton and might have some other options.

FedEx and that industrial park are a couple minutes drive from the Littleton/Lisbon line.

State DOT is on Dells in Littleton and is always hiring.

Dalton is hiring for a DPW guy.

I'm sure the trash transport companies like MBI are hiring.

Plenty of construction companies around if he wants to run a dump truck.

Oil companies are likely hiring. Presby or whomever. Get used to dragging hose for oil or propane.

Lots of options with or without CDL.

Kinda depends on what "northern NH" is to you all.

Not distribution stuff, but there is a FedEx hub in Littleton and a UPS hub in Carroll/Twin Mountain.

A search for beverage distributors on google came up with a Pepsi place in Conway, but blech on the whole Conway area unless you love tourist traffic.

Good luck with the move.

Wow, that stinks. Sorry you had bad beer there. If you do go again and it happens, pull one of the owners aside quietly and ask them about it. Maybe they don't realize it. I would hate to see a young brewery/restaurant go down.

I normally drink either their Ice Jam lager or Kilkenny Red while I'm eating as it is low ABV, but take the dark stuff home in growlers. Probably hard to screw up the simple stuff I drink.

Way too many variables. You're going to have to talk to some builders and get some guesstimates.

I'm having a 1400 sq ft + 830 sq ft garage built in NW NH. Not including land, I'm 330K into it(with most materials purchased). About 100K of that is dirt work, and the dirt work isn't done yet.

Definitely can't help you there. I found my builder near Littleton using a variety of sources. Referrals on realtor's websites, social media, scrolling through google reviews, and driving around looking at who is building what.

There is also this: https://nhhba.com/

While it is not all encompassing, if you go to about-->member directory, you may find reputable locals. Direct link, here: http://business.nhhba.com/list

Obviously still have to screen those folks, but it's a start point.

*Finding a builder is somewhat of a nerve wracking experience.
