Towson isn’t a college town. It’s a wealthy town that happens to have colleges.

Towson, Catonsville, Woodlawn and several other places are old street car suburbs of Baltimore. Wealthy Baltimoreans from the city built their summer homes in these places to escape to city. Much of Baltimore county is just as old as Baltimore city. It’s the other suburb/exurb counties that are products of white flight and sprawl.
Owings mills has transit oriented mixed use development at metro center.

Towson is very much a suburb. It’s just walkable uptown.

I grew up in the same county, but Bel Air. Even if you’re a hermit and don’t go out I wouldn’t recommend Aberdeen. It’s not the worst but if you can do better, I would.
Try Havre De Grace, Bel Air (south), Abingdon, Fallston, Forrest hill or Belcamp

I have nothing good to say about Aberdeen. Most people that are from Harford county or know it wouldn’t. Aberdeen isn’t exactly high crime, but it isn’t low crime by any means when it comes to HarCo.

What lack of outdoor dinning? The only places that didn’t have the outdoor dining here are places that didn’t have the traditional space for outdoor seating

Lol nobody said any of that. Nothing that happens in Baltimore doesn’t happen anywhere else.
If you dumped 2000k more people in Baltimore right now all of a sudden those statistics on crime look better and better.
There’s certainly places I wouldn’t go in DC, ATL, etc. and I never want to go anywhere in TX.

As long as they don’t attack them first with a bat they’d be fine. Thousands of other are. And that was well after. Not to worry tho, they could just be murder waiting for metro or in Columbia Heights

It amazes how people so confidently believe everything that happens in Baltimore exclusively happens in Baltimore on this sub. How naive.

You’re welcome. If anything go check it out and decide for yourself. You’re the one that has to live there, and would be a great setup in theory.
