So I retract and add Tru to little Italy. Homewood suits is on President and Pratt. That’s very much not harbor east. It directly across from the original after Lewis African-American history Museum

Pier 5 is the inner harbor. The Hyatt Place is Little Italy. The Canopy is Harbor Point. Homewood Suites is the Inner harbor/Little Italy

There’s 3 hotels in harbor east. Four seasons, waterfront Marriott and the the Tru Hilton. Not exactly “a ton”

I always recommend the Revival Hotel in mount Vernon for its price, cool factor, and it’s beautiful historic central location. There, or Hotel Indigo. Both of which are in you budget. For your price point you may do better using Airbnb or Vrbo.

So you got money for MARC lines other than Penn line to run on weekends?

It’s meaningless to YOU, it’s an important distinction for those in charge of money and operations.

It’s not about it being cost-neutral, it’s about where’s the money coming from to justify the service. Workers need to be paid and moneys doesn’t grow on trees. MARC is commuter rail. Not public transit

What doesn’t run much? The MARC runs 7 days a week on the Penn line and is heavily used.

I can see people confusing it with West Chester PA. But theres at lot of transplants and college students in MD from Westchester NY now that people are familiar.

So get more familiar and say you’re from the Baltimore metro area. Nothing to dwell on honestly. Get more involved with the city. Start reading local news.
I was born at Hopkins, my parents owned a home in Mount Winans when I was born that we lived at until I was one. Then we moved to Columbia, for 1.5 and waited for our house in Bel Air to be built, where I grew up. I grew up going to the city all the time as my family lived all over and my parents took us to various activities and events. Came for field trips and such. Even when I was little I was always fascinated by the city and I loved visiting my cousins and sleeping over, even in places that I now know is the hood lol. But it wasn’t until I got in college that I really experienced Baltimore on my own and really learned my love for it. Discovering all the cool places and meeting all the wonderful people (and not so wonderful too). Ever days like a mystery to quote Tracy Turnblad

You google search paid Hopkins research studies, find a study that applies to you to participate in and do the screening questions, if you’re eligible they’ll contact you. They have in-person and virtual studies

I started doing the research studies as a side hustle. Some of them pay $1500+. The cannabis ones are my favorite. It’s been a nice supplemental income so far

As you’re disabled you get to use MTA’s mobility bus. You call them and schedule pick up. Also the regular busses are ADA accessible. My cousin who has Lupus and in a wheelchair gets around solely via public transportation and gets around independently. Hopkins spent millions over the last several years improving the accessibly around its Charles village homewood campus.
