Dangerous work too. These were high performance aircraft with 1940s reliability, safety equipment and non-computerized traffic control. 38 WASP pilots lost their lives in WWII, some MIA to this day.

Reply to TIL that a district in India’s Punjab state requires prospective gun owners to plant 10 trees and take pictures with them as proof by cjfullinfaw07
In the moment that someone starts shooting at me, I'd value a group of trees that I could hide behind more than a gun of my own to shoot back at them.

Ugh! Slalom skiing is so much fun but so fuckin hard to get up on(unless you have a competition skiing boat, of course...) and exhausting. Wakeboarding is easily the best development in comptetion watersports in 50 years.

Wait, can they fertilize themselves? Imagine masterbating, not being careful and you accidentally make yourself pregnant. How embarrassing....

Reply to Can I use a block heater cord/power strip for my Christmas lights? by DaweiArch
No. For <$10 you can buy an outdoor, 3-way power cord or a 3 way Outdoor Power Stake.
You'll waste a roll of electrical tape and moisture will still get into that Indoor power strip potentially ruining the power strip , tripping your breaker and possibly messing up anything else on that circuit.
For $10, I wouldn't take that chance but thats just me.....
