All of what the kitchen designers do is custom. There's obviously standard patterns they're using in their mockups because they're popular and easy, but everyone does that, and obviously if you say you don't want xyz, they'll draw up something without it.

You should stop by the big box home improvement stores. Home Depot and Lowes offer design services for a relatively nominal fee. It's a good place to start and see what the corporate folks can design, recommend, etc. If you don't like what they go with, you've already eliminated a possible redo when you search for an independent contractor.

There's a whole host of other ways to reduce crime other than having cops everywhere or giving everyone guns. Mainly because neither of those two solutions actually do anything to lessen crime.

And what he did was literally not defense. They were running away when he pulled it out. He could've not shot at them. This is probably why he's going to be in deep shit and not getting off free.

They don't. Here are the states with the highest violent crime rates since 2020

Alaska

New Mexico

Tennessee

Arkansas

Arizona

Louisiana

Missouri

South Carolina

South Dakota

Michigan

With the exception of city and locale ordinances, every single one of them has open carry without a permit for handguns except South Carolina, which requires a permit. Every single one of them also has open carry without a permit for long guns except Tennessee, which permits them only while hunting.

That's a lot of rain. Tons and tons of water. That's about 22 inches of snow, for comparison's sake.

Now understand that if you put out a bucket to capture rain water and got 1.8", everywhere got 1.8". The river got 1.8". All of the land next to it got 1.8". All of the land higher up got 1.8". All of the land further upriver got 1.8". All of the land at higher elevation upriver got 1.8".
