They used to have two people follow the truck with a shovel and a broom.

I know they are low staffed right now and having issues and I also understand that there is a weight limit for them so they maintain worker safety which means they wouldn't be picking up huge illegally dumped things but if there were just two people following every truck with a shovel and a broom, litter would get a good elimination once a week on every street in Philadelphia.

There is an open air heroin market, the schools blow, the streets look like swiss cheese, and there's dirt bike gangs, this is not a law I give a flying fuck about the city wasting time to enforce

They honk so they dont have a head on collision with other cars on the ramps.

Old man dive bar is accurate.

When you go in for a casual beer, you almost feel like you walked into a private club you're not welcome to. But only almost.

Everyone there is old school and friendly. They will shut down the street and have a huge party for the SB. If you show up in Chiefs gear, you will be welcomed with open arms.

It's still a skid mark.

10th to 13th is the best, 4th to Front and 15th to 18th are OK. It's interesting how it just carves up a good spot too, like you can have nice areas on both sides of Snyder but Snyder Ave gonna Snyder.

Oregon is huge and arterial and doesn't have the same issues. I think all the poop is leaking out the asshole on Broad and Snyder. Between the subway and Wedge, plus the homeless colony and the junkie store that buys food stamps and the rows of empty businesses, it's a disaster.

When I was a kid, there was n open air market on that stretch of Broad where they sold bootleg DVDs, cologne, and stolen sneakers and those guys kept it clean as hell and chased away the riff raff. When the city made them leave, it got ugly again.
