If the meat were not cured already, resurrection would have been much more difficult.

Well, as much as cold fusion became synonymous with bad science. I think fusion at the nano scale is more promising than the designs that try and recreate conditions on a star. Stars are incredibly slow at burning their fuel. So sustaining the heat and pressure without all the mass will always be hard to sustain efficiently.
Using charged plasma to accelerate air and supercavitation would allow airships to be nearly frictionless. So, glowing craft seems very likely to me.
The microwave thing, not sure. Right angle interference pattern that causes a motive force as a side effect? I could see that but it wouldn’t be super fast— ultrasonics might work in air, but, probably not with a lot of thrust.

Reply to comment by Herzyr in University of Chicago scientists discover material that can be made like a plastic but conducts like metal by VeterinarianProper42
I’d say bioengineered bacteria fed along sheets of plastic would be a good way to create large swaths of cheap, conductive surfaces for buildings and roads. We need something useful to do with all the plastic we can’t recycle.

Reply to comment by pacnwxplorer in How can I remove a headless screw from a shower valve? by foootrest
This seems like better advice than the others — if it’s just the screw, why replace everything? I’ve used a hack saw or a Dremel with a thin metal grinding wheel bit to cut a new flathead screwdriver notch in screws if there is enough surface area.
But, a product with a drill and a grabber in one seems like it will be easier and come in handy later.

Watching “Mike and Me” 300 times is now going to haunt me, more than watching it ironically did.

I think politics should be sex and religion neutral, but, I do find the candor refreshing and if we can get rid of this distraction and get onto the real issues we have -- that isn't a bad thing.

Some of these things go from risky clicks to catfishing. “Hey, this content is free so we’ll play this game of tricked your click and see if you don’t accidentally install an app that says it will solve your malware problem and of course install malware— but that’s free as well.”

Reply to Police dressed as superheroes in Peru drug raid by VORTXS
I can see how this might seem silly, but, if I can get an edge by having someone hesitate to shoot me because they don't want to be the person who kills Spider-Man, I'm taking it.
In Mexico of course, I'd go with a golden wrestler, but, this is Peru and I figure that is now part of the MCU -- which is relentless.
