Nikki's Liquors in Providence used to host tastings that were educational and fun - I haven’t heard of any in a while. I am looking for one to put on my Christmas list myself - I want to try a ton of them.

I remember seeing that Farmer's Daughter is not doing cut your own this year. I don’t know if that means the trees will be trucked in from elsewhere, or still from their farm…

We had a pretty lousy experience with Grieco. Everything from dishonest advertising about price, to having to beg and pester to get the plates we paid them to get, to arriving for an appt and waiting an hour anyway. Just bad.

Great list. B&B is my favorite of these but they are all good!

Tomato -paste-, right? I could have sworn there was sugar in the sauce, too.

Spacers help with technique, but I think they are Rx only and you should get your own Rx inhaler anyway. Maybe an air purifier, too.

I wonder if they changed. I haven’t been for a while - my favorite is Glaze & Daze. I like a lighter, yeasted donut. But I figured Allies or G&D would be farther than than want to go, if they don’t want to go to PVD.

Stepstone Falls is super, as is Big River. RI Homemade Donuts and Master donuts are good and not as far as Providence.

First I read the book, and then I got to visit him when a family member was there. It was an honor - and no, he did not visit mg family member.

Max Ramos was wonderful, but I don’t know how busy he is. We used him for a couple of projects years ago, and the quality is excellent.

Reply to Skeptical about my RI Energy monthly Usage by GoGatorsMashedTaters
Me too. I have had everything looked at, including the meter, and called to speak with account supervisors multiple times. They assure me my usage is just higher. We did not use AC this year and don’t have electric heat or anything. Something is up - this started in September when I was not even here for a week, and had my water heater on vacation mode with just about everything turned off.
