You’ve gotta be kidding me lol. I also don’t think that price is worth it even if you’re right on top of a path station. You’re still in JC.

It’s not sustainable. It’s not worth it to live downtown if that’s what’s happening.

They have the worst takes, used to post lots of anti-vaccine nonsense back during the worse days of the pandemic.

That’s awesome. It’s a shame the city made them stop construction on the deck/outdoor seating they were building there

Probably haha. At least a bar. They literally have a full finished bar and there’s nothing there.

I mean, there likely won’t be a mass return to office. So they have to find a way to bring people in there besides them needing to be there for work.

The entire office building is still empty. You’ll see maybe a dozen people eating in the atrium during lunchtime. Definitely a stark difference to how it used to be.
They were supposed to have tacos open where Left Bank was but I don’t think that ever happened. They also rebuilt the bar where Piggyback was, but they haven’t opened anything there. Sad that it’s all basically a waste of space, they don’t even run the ferries to there anymore.

Is that a fact? I thought the 20-minute headways end with the 2:48 train (14th st) for the 33-JSQ line

That budget is likely gonna land you somewhere in the McGinley Sq/west side area. Close enough to public transit, any closer to a train station and you’re gonna be paying more.
The area isn’t gentrifying as quickly as expected, your rent can easily be $1k or less if you find a couple roommates.

Why are you downvoted lol the PATH is the only game in town and they know they can do whatever they want since they don’t have to answer to anyone

Right, I’m shocked sometimes that I can actually catch a regular train that doesn’t go to HBK until 10:48pm on a Friday

Also dozens of people complain on their twitter. They’ve had some very interesting excuses on there lately - https://twitter.com/pathtrain/status/1622273149503938561?s=46&t=5Pprj8BgXg06GDJuBJcr3A

I’m sure they’re going to use this as an excuse to cut weekday service, and not as a reason to expand weekend service. It’s insane. Train was packed at 11pm last night, considerably more than any weekday train I take

The whole area isn’t gentrifying that quickly, rent is still super affordable and you’re still only 20 minutes from JSQ or a short shot to downtown. I’m nearby and my rent also only went up 5%
