I used to live on Duncan, this is the old board of elections building and right next to nikkis. North main Street really does separate the two sides though, even though we would want to walk sometimes to the old bennys or Nikki's we would rather drive since it was safer.

No it's been an unusual lack of snow this winter. Several years ago we had several big snowstorms right after each other in February and had a couple of feet on the ground. I don't think it all melted until April.

Right I actually said the same thing about that 6/10 plan, how is it reconnecting anything when the rail line is still there. There's a reason that on the wrong side of the tracks is a saying that was from well before highways came about.

Lol, why? Completely different geography and time period when it was developed as a city, plus different climates, economies and cultures. Why would they develop in the same manner?

the most unknown thing about the mall, the macy's elevator is like 4 times faster than the main ones. IDK why the main ones are so slow.

The mains are cast iron so they do rust like that in older parts of the city especially, many are 100 years old. The service line in those same old parts of the city are likely lead. For the most part water like that happens after a disturbance like a hydrant being opened by the fire department.

Not a 100% but know of a company that does charters there and they post it on Airbnb experiences. I would say most likely late March they will be open.
For fine dining:
Jackie's water place downtown, sushi and Chinese, is great and very nice view. If it's nice weather sit on the terrace.
Old school Italian I would recommend Camille's on federal hill. Also chapel grill in Cranston is very good and very nice atmosphere.
Mediterranean also on fed hill would recommend Opa.
Los Andes on chalkstone is also great but make sure you get a reservation it's very popular, Peruvian food.
French would be pot au feu downtown.
Non fine dining but amazing food:
apsara on hope st or in a more sketchy area in Elmwood. Also gourmet house on hope st on the same block. Vietnamese and Cambodian.
la grand parara on broad St, cafeteria style Dominican food. Just expect a long line and wait, even though everything is already cooked the service is slow lol, but the food is great.
Pizza Brooklyn Napolitano's on fed Hill or Jeff's wood fired pizza in east providence.
Mi Guatemala for awesome Guatemalan food on atwells just south of federal hill. Would recommend the mixed grill to share and try a bit of everything.
Indian at India or rasoi on hope st.

Maybe, I would check Airbnb experiences or whatever they are called they have companies in the Providence marina that do boat tours of the bay. If you mean the gondolas downtown they don't open until April so you will just be a little too early for that.

10-15 miles even is an exaggeration for many of the surrounding towns. The airport is less than 10 miles from almost every part of providence.

if they live in this city that doesn't mean they are far from a neighboring city. the neighboring in many cases would be closer than another random neighborhood in providence.

without reliable transportation something in Elmhurst is not more accessible to someone in Washington Park than something in Cranston just because its in Providence. Its a small state something in a neighboring town might in fact be more accessible to many people without cars. If anyone really has the inability to travel far they will likely state the neighborhood rather than the city in their post.

I used to eat them too and were decent for what it was and price. But now it doesn't use real cheese. Look on the ingredients it uses imitation mozzarella cheese. I bought one recently and didn't taste like I remembered and looked at the back and noticed why. The other brands that make frozen pizza, except tontino's, at least use real cheese.

Nah we like them. The joke is people who buy the ones at the supermarket. Never buy from the supermarket, buy them from an actual bakery. The supermarket ones is like eating a mama celeste or other frozen pizza and then saying you don't like pizza because it sucked.

They are definitely wise to it now, my dealer matched carmax without any fight when I was buying from them in 2021. Ended up being to my benefit since trade-in and buy transactions lower the taxes paid.

some might buy it from you even if you are nothing buying a car, Grieco did match carmax a couple of years ago when I was going to sell it to them and buy a car from Grieco. Made the process easier doing it at one place.

its still high compared to previous summers. Last summer it was 7.810/kwh, so this proposed rate of 10.675/kwh is a 36% increase over last year. Higher than the winter 2021 rate.
