yeah, that's what the harman target does, it's what the average consumer likes, not what the average HD600S enjoyer likes

Why would you paint them pink? If it's because of the image on the monitor, that's red/pinkish light

Unpopular opinion here, Beyers aren't good sounding headphones, the 880s are ok, but the DT770s are especially bad, the 990 aren't too terrible but nothing I would willingly listen to

I would highly recommend staying away from Shiit amps, while most people never had problems with them, they have a major problems and can in rare occasions blow up your headphones

The XLR cable itself is 900$? Considering thats their first planar headphone and they are throwing that much marketing BS around i really don't have high hopes for that headphone, probably gonna be on par with 800S at the very best

Sorry for hijacking this post, but is there a difference soundquality wise between the SRH840 and the SRH840A, the SRH840 was great, and I liked to recommend them, but since they don't make them anymore and I don't know how the 840A sound it's difficult for me to recommend a potentially different headphone

Well, if I get a 200hp naturally aspirated car and I slap a 1bar turbo on it I can essentially double my horsepower, if I do the same to a 200hp car which already has a turbo in it I'd be lucky to get to 300hp, so yeah, fuck that, Honda S2000 it is for me

When looking for ANC headphnes the Opus 2020 seemed to be the single best pair out there, unfortunately not a single shop i could find had them in store so i had to resort to the second best option, a Bose one

As you probably know, ANC headphones aren't the best sounding devices out there, they are very likely trading processing time for speed to achieve desired results, the DAC and amp in a pair of ANC headphones are nothing like the one in a regular phone or headphone, but if you are interested in a DIY project I found this PDF: https://www.google.com /url?q=https://courses.physics.illinois.edu/phys406/sp2017/Student_Projects/Spring12/Danylo_Hirnyj_P406_Project_Report_Sp12.pdf&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwj2jvSVrLv7AhWoXvEDHU24AGQQFnoECAQQAg&usg=AOvVaw05PJIiwqh6tUowxQ6KcHvZ Of a guy attempting to build a pair himself (Remove the space in the URL, it's before the / after www.google.com, Reddit blocked the original link)

Mate, i already told you, processing power isn't the issue
You gotta get the bloody microphone signal into your audio cable (ADC) then send it through your cable, process it, send it back to your headphone (DAC) and then play it, if you look up the time a typical ADC and DAC needs, (don't expect anything fancy or super fast in a generic pair of headphones or phone) you'll be already above the ~0.05ms it takes for the soundwave to travel from your microphone to the speaker, no chance to cancel out anything, especially considering the phone doesn't know how far the mic and drivers are appart and what ADC your headphones are using
I told you, the biggest problem is latency, not processing power, i don't know why that's so hard to understand

Ok, cool, you listed some tech that uses similar technology, but that doesn't mean you have a good understanding on how the tech works. The issue is still latency, you'll need to invert the signal in the time the soundwaves travels between the microphone and the speaker, when you try to send that singal to your phone, convert it there and send it back to your headphone, by the time it gets played that soundwave is long past the speaker

Look, it seems like you don't really know what ANC is and how it works, but the short awnser is no, processing power of the phone actually doesn't matter in this case, there are a lot of reasons why this won't work, the most important one is latency

Yeah, technically Sony makes ANC headphones aswell, but they sound so awfull that i wouldn't even consider buying them, and when it comes to the microphones the Bose also do incredibly well in loud environments
