The last two times I went in, they tried to pass off sirloin as strip. Once is an unacceptable accident. Twice is your modus operandi.

That's pretty much how it works. The bigger the ad spend, the "better" your place is, coupled with how much ass licking you'll do when they come in to your establishment.

Try living somewhere where there's basically one utility company for most of the state or a huge region. You'll quickly come to appreciate CU

I saw the Tom Holland alias, but missed the Super's Entertainment. I'm not sure it was there last night.
And also - getting all your family members cars seized because you didn't want to pay sales tax AND bought them with money obtained fraudulently.

This guy is so damn messy about all the fraud he's committing too. Did he really think no one was gonna notice he's paying his fast food workers $50 an hour? Or that, like, there's NO building there, let alone a business that's operational?

If you're concerned about getting laid off, no, I wouldn't relocate.
The area's not nearly as cheap as it used to be, and has very few of the benefits you'd be used to in a larger city.

When I was looking for somewhere to volunteer a couple years back, the city had a bajillion options. You could basically work anywhere from the offices to the parks to the zoo to the ice rink.

It was several days before you could get anything. Some stores had generators but could only take cash. Lines were hours long at the stores that were open. It was brutal.

Check to see if your lease has any automatic renewal clauses. If it does, they can't require you to move provided you don't have other violations like rent owing, etc

Hmmm...usually a lease covers children born during the lease and doesn't require you to move just because you had a new babe.

The Kevin's chicken are good too. Just watch out for bones. Also, sometimes they're out of date at HyVee.

Rana pasta microwave meals. They're a little pricey but oh so good. Quick to make, too.
Those refrigerated meat things at Aldi. Like the Carnitas or Hawaiian Chicken or whatever. I microwave a bag of veggies, a pack of couscous or something, and those. It's like 10 minutes to make.
A bagged salad with leftover chicken or steak, or those steak or chicken strips. We add an avocado usually and some cherry tomatoes. Sometimes some garlic bread or something, sometimes not.
Neighbor's Mill if you're on the southside. It's under $20 for 2 of us.

I'm not sure any restaurants here would be a 3 star in a AAA guidebook. Forget about Michelin!
