I wonder what other things register in/with lab grown brain cells (from a mix of unidentified species's stem cells mixed with mice embryos) that can play games and how much more of a carcass is needed (how long they need it to grow into some unidentified new secret science species) for the brain cells to become and stay active.... They always leave out the good stuff we NEED to know while telling us what They prefer we know and thank them for

Reply to The Chicken and the Egg by SilasTheSavage
So that article went a bit all over the place but this is a discussion I really like to kick around with.
1- everything starts first as an egg and wether we like it or not the egg is developed in a womb some are just ejected in a hard shelled egg that survived the birth canal and some a soft shell that is meant to be destroyed upon exiting.
2- evolution can't be ignored as an extremely long process that humans have tried everything within their power to speed up to provide ourselves with convenience. The sheer Variety of "chicken" we now have is a testimony to that.
3- Birds lay eggs and eggs are easy prey items for a human though it likely was more dangerous than it is now (with the exclusion of some breeds being un-trickable and viscously protective of their offspring that leaves them largely, off the table for us)
4-if we're to believe All life on earth evolved from single celled organisms and that nature allows us to Only breed with genetically similar counterparts then enforcing the ideal that evolution is a fast rather than slow process for a species as diverse as the chicken (or fowl) depending on how your able to divvy thing up goes against well established science with recorded proof of genetic engineering taking place to achieve New species of animals that take generations of modifications from the DNA collection of males and females that are compatible enough to allow for a new Catagory of breed to be developed in either a natural or artificial womb/egg.
In conclusion.... The eggs ALWAYS are first no matter the species of animal including the lesser life forms we typically refrain from giving an animal title to but agree to call a lifeform

Reply to comment by IncompetentFrog in TIL French used 10h day instead of 24h between 1793 - 1805 during era called "decimalisation" by NightKnight_CZ
These are reasonings handed out after the fact to instill compliance and understanding to be used in defense of keeping the 24hour world clock in place as a standard after Railroad Corporations instituted the practice so their employees and shipments were able to predictably be in the expected place and negotiations over who could use what rail line when could be legally enforceable and eventually recieve Exclusive Rights of Use. It's an interesting bit of contractual warfare and new technology being used to create systematic standards meant by their Creators to last am eternity with predictable effects on society

Reply to What's the best e-book reader? by NicolasDracul
If you can get your hands on an original kindle paperwhite it is By Far the best version Kindle has to offer for an ebook reader. You will NEVER have to deal with glare from being outside and it works great in the dark. The one I had when e-readers First hit the market was my favorite, and I've had probably 4 of their "upgraded kindles" and they were all geared more twords app type games and searching/buying things on line.
I really can't say enough good things about my kindle paperwhite the only problem I had was after a few years it stopped holding a charge and wouldn't come back to life and then they weren't selling them anymore.
If you go through Amazon and get a kindle be careful because if you ever get a new account you loose All the books from your previous one unless they've made changes to how they keep track of you. I was out close to a hundred books I paid for but they also give you access to free ebooks
Good luck!
