Yeah I’ve only flown Jet Blue to MCO from there. For me the drive to BDL was easier, less traffic.

I’ve been told the Westchester airport has been having issues w inadequate parking recently. I haven’t flown out of there in several years but it would be worth finding out about that ahead.

Air Train was $8 each way when I took Amtrak to EWR 2 mos ago. I was surprised.

Avelo flies from New Haven to Midway. Amtrak goes from New Haven to Newark Airport - this is the lowest stress and cheapest option for getting to a NY airport. Bradley long term parking lots aren’t very expensive.

I don’t know how long you need to park or when but there are often metered spaces on York between B’way and Grove in the evening. Could also try along Elm between Howe and York.

Definitely Wallingford. Their center of town around N Main St where the restaurants are has some lovely streets with more historic homes. There are also some more suburban areas that IMO are less appealing w split level ranches from the 70’s.

Sierra Club and Appalachian Mountain Club may have some rated easy.
