There are a lot of silly things you can add to your car to personalize it. There doesn't have to be a reason for their existence. Some of them will earn you a ticket, however. This is one of them.

The biggest culprit in any old apartment is a draft, often via old windows and non-insulated exterior walls. Here are two inexpensive solutions that you can install yourself and can potentially save you a bundle. I use these in my apartment and they work.

Drive a few blocks into your bordering Providence neighborhood on trash day and leave your recycling in a random green can at some house. Providence residents are terrible at recycling, so there will be plenty of room in there.

There's a lot of poverty in Providence. It's no secret that people with limited cash love Walmart prices and variety, AND often have a lot more drama in their lives than more economically stable people, as a result of persistent poverty. Not gonna lie, this lends itself to great reality TV episodes there. Especially at the beginning of the month when shoppers are flush with benefit payouts.

The one thing you won't find there is fresh produce and food.

Here's the thing. When you sell or pawn jewelry, they give you the going rate for raw gold (by weight) minus their markup. Doesn't matter if it's a nugget you found in a river in Colorado or a piece that was hand crafted by the House of Tiffany. Weight. Disappointment.

Unbelievably, a payday loan is a better financial decision than pawning jewelry. You will be disappointed by the amount they offer you, and then you will be ripped off by the interest charged.
