When I was young in the early 2000s my family’s dogs had a litter of puppies (puggles specifically) one was born too small with obvious mental deficiencies, and physical issues. Like when she was a puppy when she would run her front legs would often lock up and she would fall forward. No vet could diagnose her and everyone suggested she should be put down because it effected her mobility deeply.

My parents took her to Tufts on a suggestion and they are the only ones to try to treat her. They ran a multitude of tests and kept her for a week. They gave her back with a vitamin regiment. It eventually went away, the physical issues i mean, mentally she always struggled.

she ended up living 14 years thanks to Tufts. She did die from a likely combination of both Cushings disease and cancer

I will swear until the day I die that Cafe Tempo in Warwick has the best bagels in RI.

They are made fresh daily, tons of variety and they load up because they sell out, they are like the perfect texture of fluff to density ratio, and they’re pretty cheap to buy in bulk

Venda’s is overrated as hell. Food is mid at best, overly expensive, and the service is dogshit.

I had a group reservation last year, they over booked and then stuck us in the deli said because of it it. Paying fine dining prices they sat us in a deli with fold-up chairs and a picnic table cloth. While we were there not just 1 but 2 fucking cockroaches made it to our table. Fuck that place, food was bland too.

Feel free to dm the hotel and I can let you know if its sketchy, as I know why you wouldn’t want to post it.

On one hand that rent is absurdly cheap considering that the shittiest one bed apartment you may find in a horrible area will be like minimum $1,300 a month with utilities.

On the other hand $13 if you work 40 hours a week is only $520 which is honestly very little money in this area so budgeting will be very tight. That’s also without tax as I don’t know if your arrangement is legit/legal or under the table.

I would also stress that this sort or arrangement is very uncommon in this area and borderlines servitude. So I would be weary of guidelines you are given as red flags. Meaning are you allowed to have guests? Is it an actual room or a servants closet? If you break housing rules what are the results as in do they take money out of your pay? Etc.

Overall, be careful it could be sketchy or it could work out fine. Just make sure you aren’t taken advantage of.

The feel is like if you mixed a college bar and a soccer specific sports bar. Every time I’ve gone I’ve gotten the worst service even when its not busy and they have a decent amount of staff. Like I went and watched one of the Argentina games. Place had plenty of staff and was really not busy at all. The staff would check the table once an hour to the point that everyone in the big screen room had to keep waving the staff over conglomerating at the bar.

The food is all right, but the staff rushes and every time I’ve gone almost every food order is at least a little wrong.

Its definitely not the worst sports bar I’ve been too, but every time I’ve gone I’ve found very little to make me want to go back. The only reason I even end up there is because there are so few bars that consistently play soccer.
