They're already circling for Batman: Caped Crusader (one of Kevin Conroy's final projects)

Except he hates that and wanted more cheap reality shows in the first place.

The very first episode of Columbo in fact.

Disney didn't buy the Fox network. Just the film division and their shows. Murdoch still owns the network, the sports broadcasting and the shitrag news.

Discovery has been accused in the past of racism/sexism on their shows (in some cases far worse than this).
After the WB merger, plenty of POC and women in high positions at the company were being forced out. And it doesn't take much to see a pattern of what shows they decided to cancel/erase from existence to save money.

But now instead of having all the DC stuff on one app... they're gonna sell it off to multiple ones. It's bullshit for viewers to have to pay different services to watch just because the company is too cheap to keep it on the same one.

Yeah, they honestly thought the best way to get past Trumpers demonizing the network for over 4 years... was to sell out to them.
CBS also hired a disgraced Trump admin member to head their programming. WGN eliminated original programming and became NewsNation (to also pander to the base as a mini-Fox News). All of them assumed that "red wave" was gonna happen and that the GQP were to take over, so they readied to pander to the base.
Annnnnd then it didn't happen. Now they've pissed off the old audience and won't be aquiring that new intended audience.

No, the new owners want to turn CNN into Fox News 2.0 and pander to far-right viewers who eat up racist conspiracy bullshit.

This started in the early 70s. They called it the "rural purge".
Shows with rural/country settings (or even had a tree on set, as actor Pat Buttram described it) were all immediately cancelled and replaced with city-focused sitcoms/dramas.
The Andy Griffith Show, The Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, Lassie, Petticoat Junction, Hogan's Heroes, The Virginian, The High Chaparral, Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C, Ed Sullivan, My Three Sons, Mayberry RFD, Jackie Gleason, Red Skelton, Hee Haw... most were still hit shows, but they all got cancelled so as to eliminate the older demographic and skew more towards the lucrative younger audiences.

As great as this would be, it's also fucking pathetic that Warner Bros/DC has to go elsewhere just to do animation... after decades if it being one of their best in-house productions.

Odds are Chapek decided to cut costs by not spending on any advertising for the film (rather than bloat the budget even more for this when it bombed). On top of that it's been speculated that the inclusion of a gay main character gave Chapek even more cause to want to bury the film (so as not to add more ammo to the anti-LGBT conservatives already mad at him after the Disney employees forced the company to speak out against the Florida bill).

They keep falling into this same pattern, they try new stuff and undermine it... then go right back to Batsy.
Even most of their animated stuff of late has Batman in the title or on the advertising, even though the films were supposed to be about other characters.

No, Iger wanted to retire... but he didn't name a successor so the board just shoved Chapek into the seat for being a good money maker. Then he stopped being good at it, and kept throwing them into PR nightmare after PR nightmare.
