Will it be embossed like the ones in the photo or flat like the new plates?

Thanks for sharing! I’m glad you liked the look. I was a little nervous with the switching to flat plates

The new ones? Did you get the same numbers or a different one?

Here’s the guy my uncle used if you’re interested.

His plate is a C plate so I’m assuming of one of the first issued of the green ones.

That’s awesome. My uncle has his originals but had them refurbished. They look like new. The guy told him this is the last year I’m going to pass them so my uncle fixed them. Lol

Original green plate or did you need to have it refurbished?

The only state that did that was Hawaii and I believe Quebec made that same mistake as well. Otherwise it’s known to skip over that combination lol

Oh bummer.
Yeah, that’s what I’m referring to. My grandfather has one on his Audi that I think is cool looking that he’s had for over 22 years now. I also like the blue letters on them vs the black on the new ones.

If it’s the original plate that came from the civic does it have the “Sesquicentennial - 150 Years” on it? Those are so cool. If you registered in Arizona 17 years ago it also means you have an embossed plate vs the ugly flat style they switched to in 2008. Don’t even get me started on Arizona’s new numbering system. Lol

Damn. Who’s actually read that?

Utah also suspended their vanity plates too because they were afraid of what people would request. It’s really stupid.
The other change I’d like to see Rhode Island make is allowing 7 characters. Their font would fit it.
