Oh, whoops. I'm on the outskirts of the county, so I'm in a different district. My 5 was just a single line about whether my rep should pursue a fee on carbon fuels to offset their impact. Didn't have any information at what point the fee would be imposed nor on what fuel applications.

Yeah, that one caught me off guard too. Basically no information there and a quick google didn't turn up anything. Kind of hard to vote for an energy tax during an energy crunch when they can't even tell you where the fee will be implemented.

You know what they say about things that are too good to be true, right? There's two possibilities in my mind for what's going on there. First is that dealers will sometimes list low prices to lure you in, but then refuse to sell you that specific vehicle and offer something "comparable." Other possibility is that those cars have had some kind of severe damage. It's worth the money to run a Carfax on them. General advice is: don't trust any used car dealers.

Edit: Also, don't buy a Pontiac. The later years especially are crap and they don't make parts for them anymore.

The price is the real sticking point for me. I haven't had much of a problem with the service at my current apartment, it's actually decently fast too, but $80/month with another increase constantly looming is too much for the lowest tier. Only reason it's so high appears to be because they've had no competition.
