Same on Rt2. There's T intersections and stop lights, yet everyone treats it like a highway. People would revolt if you tried to increase their commute times.

I think you could probably find a plethora of labor violations in a vast majority of restaurants, and I've worked for some sleazy assholes in my day, but everybody knows you don't mess with minors' scheduling restrictions.

Or just figured out transportation in general. There's a lot of places, especially around downtown, where parking is a nightmare. And only getting worse when they build new complexes without adequate parking. The busses are pretty bad too, the streets aren't really pedestrian or bike friendly, so there's absolutely no good way for residents to get around.

It's always been crazy to me that it can be profitable to ship stuff thousands of miles when it's already essentially worthless here.

I thought it was, until all the Bostonians started killing our housing market. I mean, it's pretty much central to all of southern New England. You get the best of both worlds.

Probably because, despite all our advances in surveillance technology, there's still zero proof for any of this type of stuff. There is always a more mundane explanation. You just haven't found it yet. Check for coroding lead plumbing fixtures, faulty electrical, leaky gas lines, and vermin, then maybe I'll start to believe.

I'm honestly a bit confused here. Living in Holden or Sterling isn't really any cheaper than Worcester, while Paxton and Rutland are more rural so land is a bit cheaper. These towns aren't even really comparable to each other.

You're talking to a city with a near 20% poverty rate. People are already getting priced out by the increasing housing costs, nobody is going to want to vote for increasing their taxes. Even if it does make life easier.
