Why are you acting like its easier for someone already driving to come into JC, find parking, take the super slow PATH train (via Hoboken probably), and then walk a block....
Versus then simply stopping at Secaucus and going direct to MSG?

How is that a better option?

Madison Square Garden is at NY Penn Station, there is no service from JC to that location. Better to park at Secaucus.

If you browse the photos on google maps, it crazy to see the change in prices in 5 years. You used to get a half chicken and the full bag of fries for under $10

Youre absolutely right. My gf is vegetarian and in all the ironbound theres like 2 places we can go to lol. Zero diversity of food.

$16 for a burger without fries is criminal. And their hours are shit.

Avoid them, theyre overpriced. Go to Central a block away

Did you know Manhattan includes Harlem, Washington Heights etc?

Yup. People seem to think Manhattan ends at 96th for some reason.

There are tons of parts of NYC that have Newark rates. I know someone in a studio paying $1450 in Brooklyn. My ex lived in an apartment that was 3 bedrooms for $2900 in Manhattan.

Yeah but the areas you mentioned are basically NYC except with worse transit and more traffic, and arent cheap either.

All those locations are basically NYC. Why not just live in NYC if thats where hes working? Why NJ?

The best way to determine what a safe neighborhood is, is to use the search bar ------------>

I fully accept them closing in 2020 when Covid was new and unknown, and staying closed while they did full construction. The issue is its been 2.5 years and its time to give the space back to us. They have two security guards without masks sitting in the tube so they clearly dont care about them getting sick

Yeah, the next question is did the city sign away public rights because the mayor got a $10 donation in 1986

Right, theres a paragraph that says it can be closed for construction but thats done. It was fine when it was closed for awhile, but its been 2.5 years.
"I can understand not wanting to keep it 24 hours but like 6am to midnight at least."
As long as roads are 24/7, s should sidewalks be

Same, I didnt expect anything to be honest. Props to NJ Transit for responding so quickly (I asked them because the walkway made a hole into the station)
